Come hone your skills at plein air painting with award-winning Chicago artist Helen Dannelly. Join Helen for four immersive painting sessions set amid the beautiful landscapes of the Chicago Botanic Garden.
Topics covered include substrate underpainting, choosing a strong composition, simplifying nature's chaos, understanding value, color mixing, capturing light, and developing a confident painting process outdoors. Bring your enthusiasm for art and your love of nature.
Class size is limited to six participants to ensure individualized instruction. Additional dates and private group sessions may be available upon request.
