Interested in creating lightweight sculpture or exploring three-dimensional forms?
Join artist and instructor Helen Dannelly for this three-session workshop exploring Fosshape and other fibers. Learn to create expressive, lightweight structures suitable for encaustic, oil, acrylic, and other surface treatments.
Through demonstrations and guided exercises, Helen will help you explore the materials’ possibilities while developing your ideas and understanding of composition and form.
Why Fosshape?
“After working in bronze, iron, and other cast metals—which become very heavy as the scale increases—I wanted a material that would let me work large without the weight. With Fosshape, I can move large sculptures myself in the studio, during shipping, and when installing a show. And the look is exactly what I’m after!” — Helen Dannelly

Her inventive combinations of materials and approachable techniques will encourage you to experiment and discover new ways to express your ideas.
