And these skins can be used not only on 2D but also on 3D surfaces!
During this 2-hour online session, Helen demonstrates how to create skins using:
acrylic gel medium with heavy body, fluid and high flow acrylic
crackle paste as a unique textured surface
light molding paste as both opaque and translucent surface
clear tar gel combined with high flow acrylic as linear appliques
pastel ground as a textured drawing transfer skin
And more...!
Helen’s demos and exercises expand the way you think about combining collage elements. This class will spark your creativity as you explore the potential of the materials. Trained as a Golden Artist Educator, Helen's understanding of Golden products leads to creative solutions resulting in demos that get you thinking outside of the box as you discover new ways to express your ideas.

"This is an enjoyable class to teach. It provides students with the basic tools to create acrylic skins so that they gain a fundamental understanding of how different materials work in combination with each other. Students can then go on to create their own combinations to achieve the look they are after. I have seen students take the ideas from this class and run with it."
